RJA07 : Esa

Glasgow's resident South African house aficionado Esa mixes up a decades worth of 4/4 gold in tribute to his late father.

In the short time he's been living in Glasgow Esa has got stuck right in to the house scene and put together several Red Bull workshops with dons such as Linkwood and Josh Wink, as well as bagging himself a resident spot at our favourite local night Subculture. His dad Mervin used to DJ in S.A. back in the day, so to mark a decade since his passing he's delved deep into his collection to put together this blend of some mighty fine classic deep house, fittingly titled "A decade of dedication Mervin Granger Williams '99-'09".

Sorry - no tracklist

Elephanting

Peeped this vid of a rather healthy looking UB's boat party at the Electric Elephant Festival this year. And wait a minute - thats our mate smiler right in the middle with the white t-shirt on! A regular face down at the Sub Club ever since we've been going to see our favourite DJs Harri & Domenic, he's branching out into the worldwide clubbing community these days ;)
