Heads Up

Here's a bit of a heads up to let you all know that we celebrate our first year of I.O.R. parties at Glasgow's Sub Club next month, Sunday 2nd September. We've had immense fun supplying the soundtrack for the whole night over the past 12 months so we hope all the locals can join us for the birthday party. 

There will be a guestlist competition on the blog in the week running up to the night :)

Shiny Yellow Vinyl

The OOFT! Remix of Johannes Regnier is out now on lovely yellow vinyl. There will be no digital release for this and only 300 copies worldwide (with about half already sold in Germany) so go grab it if you like the sounds :). The tracks were mastered by Lupo at Dubplates and Mastering in Berlin and you can hear the difference in sound for sure.

Our biggest Instruments of Rapture event yet is fast approaching. Next Sunday 3rd June we have The Revenge's worldwide debut of his new live Bodyfusion project, where he'll be showcasing 60mins of new material jammed live on hardware alongside partner Paul McGlashan. Craig Smith and yours truly will be supporting on the decks. There may well be a secret afterhours party too so the UKs biggest bank holiday should definitely go off with a bang :)

Since the Easter weekend has just finished and it's heads-down for a few weeks here's some early info on the next bank holiday - Instruments of Rapture Event 9 (in association with the Garden Festival Croatia) falls on the Sunday so there's literally no excuse not to come down to the Sub Club for a boogie. Aw yeah.

The Revenge in London

The big dog will be helping kick off the new Disco Deviance residency in Shoreditch in a couple of weeks at the Queen of Hoxton.

There's plenty of other DJ talent playing too - residents Pete Herbert & Dicky Trisco will be warming up downstairs whilst the Get Down Edits crew & Dave Autodisco will be hosting the upstairs room all night.

Sounds like a party :)

RJA39 : Chef De Party

The final Ruffjamz episode comes from the hardest working man on the Glasgow club scene.

At just 33 The Earl, aka Chef De Party is already something of a veteran of the Scottish club-scene, having been involved in promoting and DJing at many esteemed club-nights in Scotland's capital. Chef is now making a mark for himself in Glasgow after a recent re-location, setting up his Forever Cookin' promotions business which is working closely with institutions such as The Sub Club, Melting Pot and La Cheetah as well as bigger events such as Wee Chill and Electric Frog. His huge passion for forward thinking deep house and heart-warming soulful sounds are also proving to be popular as the Solid Gold Safari all-dayer he ran at The Halt Bar with DJ Dribbler every Saturday attested. Look out for news of a string of brand new Safari projects coming for 2012 on both sides of the country.
